2024 Hyundai Alcazar : 9 reasons not to buy.
The Hyundai Alcazar was launched in India in 2021. It was a stretched version of the Creta and could carry 6/7 occupants. While it was a very competent car, it could not set the sales charts on fire like some other 6/7-seater SUVs in the market. Still, it has been a consistent performer and Hyundai’s only 6/7-seater SUV. This makes it an important product in Hyundai’s model line-up.
Here are 9 reasons why you should not consider the Hyundai Alcazar :
– Comfort for longer journeys is limited, with the 3rd-row seating better suited for children rather than adults.
– Enthusiasts may miss the excitement at higher revs, as the turbo-petrol engine packs 158 BHP but revs only up to ~5,750 rpm.
– The diesel engine, with 114 BHP and 250 Nm torque, feels adequate but is the least powerful in its segment.
– Competitors like the XUV700, Scorpio-N, Safari, Carens, and Hector Plus offer more spacious and comfortable cabins.
